Windstar Debuts Complimentary Watersports Program
Windstar’s small ships are splashing into new waters by offering a complimentary Watersports Program. The software consists of “moist” landings at the seashore utilizing an inflatable boat, as well as air options on and inside the water.
Windstar defines a wet landing as a lively and cell journey, a tour to places like Costa Rica that is domestic to the various natural world, together with howler monkeys. Travelers splash onto the shore from inflatable boats and head into towns—places that welcome smaller ships in preference to larger cruisers. Note: This software isn’t restricted to Central America, as there are possibilities to get moist on warm water itineraries inside the Caribbean, Tahiti, South Pacific, Greek Isles, Mediterranean, and more. The Watersports Platform facilitates admission to the water.
These are available on every one of the six Windstar ships, which are staffed with the aid of trained Sports Coordinators and geared up with stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, and gadgets for snorkeling, cruising, swimming, water skiing, and windsurfing. In addition, the coordinators will give hints on how to use the complimentary water toys—devices like water trampoline, snorkel tools, sailboats, kayaks, floatation pods, and stand-up paddleboards. Travelers can also get moister and dive into the underwater international around them in ports of call, including locations within the hidden Caribbean, both coasts of Mexico, Costa Rica, and Panama, and smaller Mediterranean ports. One excellent tour is the sea dive at Tapu, a well-known dive website of Bora Bora, in which divers can witness lemon sharks, blacktip reef sharks, humphead Maori wrasses, moray eels, and turtles.
In addition to these new excursions, our sister book Travel Agent Central mentioned Windstar’s newly unveiled culinary journey program, which is presented in partnership with the James Beard Foundation. The program offers cooking demonstrations and nightly dinner menu choices. In 2019, a lineup of chefs will share their information with cruisers who want to learn about meals.
